How to Disable Advertisements from Appearing in the Windows 11 Start Menu
Windows users who have installed the update KB5036980 will see 'suggestions for new apps' in their start menu. Follow the steps below to disable them:
1. Go the the Windows search menu and enter ‘Settings’, then click it to go to your Windows Settings.
2. Click ‘Personalization’.
3. Click ‘Start’.
You will see a toggle labeled 'Show recommendations for tips, app promotions, and more'.
4. Disable this option to permanently remove adverts from your start menu.
