If you want to merge multiple documents into a single file, you can use the Combine Files into a Single PDF feature detailed here.
The Insert features can be used to merge documents in a range of different ways, as detailed here.

The Insert Pages feature can be used for this purpose:
1. Open one of the files to be merged.
2. Click Document in the Menu Toolbar.
3. Click Insert Pages. The Insert Pages dialog box will open:
4. Select a file, determine the page range used and destination location, then click OK to insert.
Please note that PDF-XChange Viewer has now been discontinued and replaced by PDF-XChange Editor.
