The changes I made and/or markups I added to a PDF document are not visible when the document is printed.

Problem:

The changes I made and/or markups I added to a PDF document are not visible when the document is printed.

Cause:

The Print Options are set to print the document in its original format.

Resolution:

The Print Options must be adjusted to include comments in the print data:

1. Click the File tab.

2. Click Print.

3. Click the Print dropdown menu in the Advanced Print Options tab:

4. Select Whole Content to include markups, stamps, forms fields, notes, pop-ups, media and print marks when documents are printed

Additionally, in the case of printing form field data, please ensure that the Visibility property of form fields is set to Visible in order to include form field data when the document is printed. If you want to check this property for form fields, then click the Form tab, click Select Fields, right-click the form field and click Properties. The Properties pane for the field will open and the Visibility property can be viewed/edited there:
