There are two options to resolve this issue:

The first option is to reinstall and ensure that PDF-XChange Editor is not set as the default application for PDF files. In order to do this it is necessary to run the installer again and clear the checkbox for setting PDF-XChange Editor as the default application for PDF files:

The installation will then complete and the serial keys will be available for all products.

The second option is to enter the serial keys manually for the products. If the installation froze halfway through than the products should still have been installed, although the serial keys may not be present. Therefore it is necessary to access the individual applications themselves and install the serial keys manually:

PDF-XChange Editor

1. Click Help in the Menu Toolbar, then click Enter License Key in the submenu. The Registration Info dialog box will open.

2. Click the Add New License Key button. The Add New License Key/Activation Code dialog box will open.

3. Enter the license key in the text box and click Continue.

PDF-Tools

1. Click Help in the Menu Toolbar, then click Enter License Key in the submenu. The Registration Info dialog box will open.

2. Click the Add New License Key button. The Add New License Key/Activation Code dialog box will open.

3. Enter the license key in the text box and click Continue.

PDF-XChange Standard

1. Move to the Control Panel.

2. Click Devices and Printers.

3. Right-click PDF-XChange Standard V6 and then click Printing Preferences. The Printing Preferences dialog box will open.

4. Click the About tab and then click the Registation button:

The License Keys dialog box will open.

5. Click the Add new Serial Key button. The Add New Serial/License Key dialog box will open.

6. Enter the license key and click Continue.
