Can I use PDF-Tools to convert PDF documents to other formats?
Answer:
Yes - the PDF-Tools batch processing application features default tools that enable the conversion of PDF documents into the following formats:
- MS Excel Spreadsheet (*.xlsx)
- MS Powerpoint Presentation (*.pptx)
- MS Word Document (*.docx)
- Plain Text (*.txt)
- PDF/A
- PDF/X
- A range of image formats, including *.bmp, *.gif, *.jpeg *.png and *.tiff.
Follow the steps below to use these tools:
1. Open PDF-Tools and locate the desired tool. Most of the tools listed above are located in the Export PDF section:
The tools that convert PDF documents to different PDF formats are located in the PDF Standard section:
2. Right-click the tool and then click Run in the submenu:
The Open Files dialog box will open:
3. Select the file for conversion and click Open.
The file will then be converted.
